By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The content of this website is general information about LAYBL and its approach to household contents records. It is not professional advice, and it is not insurance, valuation, underwriting or claims advice.

LAYBL gives brokers, underwriters, surveyors, claims professionals and specialist valuers a clearer, better-organised record to work from. Any estimated replacement-cost information described on this site is an estimate and is not a formal or certified valuation.

Your Home by LAYBL membership runs for 12 months. You can pay annually in advance or in 12 monthly instalments. Prices depend on where you are:

• United Kingdom and elsewhere: £350 a year, or £35 a month for 12 months (£420 in total).
• United States: US$460 a year, or US$46 a month for 12 months (US$552 in total).
• Canada: CA$630 a year, or CA$63 a month for 12 months (CA$756 in total).

The same price applies each year your membership renews, unless we give you notice of a change as described below. Monthly instalments spread the cost of your annual membership; they are not a rolling monthly subscription. We will show the price, currency and payment terms before you pay.

Unless you cancel renewal before your membership ends, your membership renews for a further 12 months using your selected payment option.

You can cancel renewal at any time by contacting us at admin@laybl.app. Your membership remains available until the end of your current term, and any remaining instalments remain payable, subject to your statutory cancellation and refund rights.

Consumers normally have a 14-day right to cancel a distance contract. If you ask us to begin providing Home by LAYBL during that period, we may charge a proportionate amount for the service provided before you cancel, where the law permits. Your statutory rights are not affected. To cancel during the cooling-off period, email us clearly stating that you wish to cancel.

We may change a future renewal price, but we will give you reasonable notice before the change takes effect so you can cancel before renewal.

When your membership ends, you will have 30 days of read-only access to download your reports and supporting documents. During this period, you will not be able to add or amend items.

After 30 days, your account will close. Information will be deleted or retained in accordance with our privacy notice and any applicable legal requirements.

Any values suggested by LAYBL are indicative estimated replacement values for your review. They are not professional or certified valuations, are not represented as approved by any insurer, and do not guarantee an item’s authenticity, market value or the amount payable following a claim.

You are responsible for checking and correcting item descriptions, estimated values and supporting information, keeping your record current, and obtaining specialist valuations where appropriate.

Before using your record to arrange or renew insurance, you should confirm the required values, evidence and level of cover with your broker or insurer. LAYBL does not provide insurance advice or guarantee that your record is complete or that your belongings are adequately insured.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You may view and print pages from this site for your own personal or business use. You must not misuse the site by introducing malicious code, attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping it at scale, or using it in any way that is unlawful or that could damage its availability.

The LAYBL name, marks, text, imagery and design of this site belong to LAYBL LTD or are used with permission. They may not be reproduced, republished or used commercially without our written consent.

We aim to keep the site available, accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that content is free of error. We may change or withdraw content at any time.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information published on this site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Personal data submitted through this site is handled as described in our privacy notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
